Everything vibrates – from the smallest atom on Earth to the furthest star in space. hertz glimpses into this hidden universe, making the inaudible sound tangible, visible and real. Immerse yourself in the imperceptible soundtrack of the city in real-time. Listen to the secret songs of stars and harness their harmonics to generate beautiful visual patterns.

hertz is an artwork by artist Juliet Robson in collaboration with academics from the fields of astrophysics, meteorology and mathematics. Co-commissioned and supported by Unlimited, celebrating the work of disabled artists, funded by Arts Council England. Co-commissioned and supported by We The Curious and Oxford Contemporary Music. Supported by: University of Birmingham, The Friends of the University of Reading, 101 Outdoor Arts Creation Space and University of Reading.

IF Oxford is operating a Pay What You Decide (PWYD) ticketing system. This works by enabling you to pre-book events without paying for a ticket beforehand. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to pay what you decide you want to, or can afford. If you prefer, you can make a donation when you book.

There may be tickets available on the door – spaces may be reallocated if ticket holders are late.
