Steeped in history and in a prime location in the centre of Oxford, St John’s Auditorium is a memorable setting for concerts.

Bus
Several buses stop nearby, including the Park and Ride 300, 6, 1 and 5. You can park at one of Oxford’s several Park and Ride sites – we suggest the Peartree Park and Ride. For further information on buses please refer to bus company websites, Oxford Bus and Stagecoach.
Bicycle
There are plenty of bike racks on St Giles’.
Train
St John’s College is approximately a 13-minute walk from Oxford Rail Station.
Park and Ride
Oxford is well served by a number of Park and Ride services from different parts of outer Oxford, with City Centre stops within walking distance of The Sheldonian. There are five Park and Ride car parks (on the A40 at Headington; Redbridge, Abingdon Road, near Kennington; Pear Tree Roundabout, Woodstock Road; Oxford Parkway, Banbury Road, Kidlington; and Seacourt at Botley).
Car
There is limited blue-badge parking close to St John’s College, including on Beaumont St and Parks Rd, so we recommend that others use public transport or a Park and Ride.
There are public car parks at Westgate Shopping Centre and Gloucester Green.

Accessibility information
St John’s College aims to provide a good degree of accessibility for visitors. The main entrance is via the Porters’ Lodge on St Giles – please summon assistance from the porters via the bell push outside the door.
The Auditorium is located in the Garden Quad and it provides wheelchair access to both the stage and the stalls within the theatre. Seating can be removed to provide a range of different seating layouts to enable wheelchairs to be positioned in different parts of the theatre. There are also ramps, a platform lift, a hearing loop and an accessible toilet.
If the 5 minute walk from the lodge to the auditorium may be challenging for you then please get in touch with us as we can arrange a different entrance.
