FÜLÜ’s lush sound universe connects current jazz, the percussive trance of carnivals, and the captivating rhythms of techno clubs. The French band’s rich brass section (complete with sousaphone) and driving percussion, blends with electronic sounds for a fresh, danceable vibe.
Their distinctive animal guises convey the wild spirit of their music, stories, and imaginary world. They’ve performed at Glastonbury, Festival de Mourèze, Jazz À l’Ouest and Boomtown. Following several single releases, their self-titled album was released in January 2024.
The evening will finish with a set from DJ Malicia. Spanish-born and Oxford-based, Malicia is a genre-fluid DJ blending realms of breaks, electro, bouncy tracks and hard Latinx grooves. She has been part of Patterns since 2023 and has collaborated with collectives such as Mom Was Right and Collective Hysteria in Oxford and London.
